Wrought iron is the one part of our work that cannot be rushed. We forge the scrolls and leaves on the anvil rather than buying cast parts — the difference shows close up, and it is why restoration on older buildings is possible at all.

By the sea it is the protection that decides, not the thickness of the steel. Before we quote, we ask where the structure will stand and how far it is from the water.
The strongest and cheapest option, but only with galvanising and powder coating. Left unprotected on the coast it rusts within a single season.
For handrails and railings by the sea. AISI 316 where there is salt and spray, 304 for interiors and the inland areas.
Light and it does not rust, so we choose it for balcony railings on tall buildings and wherever nobody will be maintaining the structure.
Immersion in molten zinc protects the inside of the profile as well. Powder coating in your RAL colour goes on top.
