Terrace railing
Powder-coated mild steel, following the curved edge of the terrace.
Steel railings for terraces and balconies in stainless and mild steel — made to the edge, fixed without damaging the waterproofing.
A terrace railing stands outdoors all year, and on the coast in salt air too. So we choose the material by distance from the sea and the fixing by the slab: on terraces above a room or garage we usually side-fix the railing, so the waterproofing is not drilled.
We work across Montenegro — Herceg Novi, Kotor, Tivat, Budva, Bar and Podgorica. Measuring is free within 60 km of our workshop in Podi.
The safest option with children in the house — bars cannot be climbed.
A light look that keeps the sea view. We recommend them where there are no small children.
For terraces by the sea and handrails touched daily. By the sea we use grade 316.
Any RAL colour, most often anthracite or black. By the sea, hot-dip galvanised first.
Decorative elements, slats or a lattice privacy screen.
From the finished terrace floor. 110 cm on higher floors.
The same gap applies between the slab and the bottom of the railing.
Closer where the railing carries a screen or faces the bura wind.
The standard tube; timber handrails are 45–60 mm.
Side-fixed to the slab edge where there is a room below; top-fixed to the slab or parapet where the edge is weak or stone-clad.
Grade 316 stainless, or mild steel hot-dip galvanised and powder coated. Ordinary paint by the sea does not last two seasons.
A stainless tube or a timber handrail on steel brackets — timber is warmer to touch and does not heat up in summer.
Powder-coated mild steel, following the curved edge of the terrace.
Horizontal tubes on square posts, finished in dark grey.
Five horizontal rails: a light railing that keeps the view open.
Horizontal stainless tubes on square posts.
Grey bars and handrail, posts fixed to the slab edge.
Decorative lower railing and a lattice privacy screen.
The price depends on length and build. These things matter most.
At least 100 cm from the finished floor; on higher floors we recommend 110 cm. Infill gaps should not exceed 12 cm.
It does not have to be. Above rooms we side-fix the railing to the slab edge, leaving waterproofing and tiles untouched.
Both last with proper protection: grade 316 stainless, or steel hot-dip galvanised then powder coated.
No, only steel railings. For an open view we recommend horizontal tubes or slim bars.
For an average terrace usually one day, because the railing arrives finished and protected from the workshop.

We will call you back on the number you gave within a working day.
By the sea it is the protection that decides, not the thickness of the steel. Before we quote, we ask where the structure will stand and how far it is from the water.
The strongest and cheapest option, but only with galvanising and powder coating. Left unprotected on the coast it rusts within a single season.
For handrails and railings by the sea. AISI 316 where there is salt and spray, 304 for interiors and the inland areas.
Light and rust-free — for lightweight structures and parts that are hard to reach for maintenance.
Immersion in molten zinc protects the inside of the profile as well. Powder coating in your RAL colour goes on top.
