For one, two or more cars — on posts, cantilevered or fixed to the house wall.
Steel or aluminium, open or with a metal roof, over a terrace or a path.
A small cantilevered canopy over a door, fixed into the wall, with a metal sheet roof.
A load-bearing structure for an extension, loft or shed — to the engineer's design.
So water runs off the sheet quickly and does not get into the laps.
2.6 m or more for vans and larger vehicles.
On the coast the roof and anchors are designed for gusts.
Inland and in the mountains we allow for snow too.
Curved steel ribs over a paved walkway, ready for a cover or climbing plants.
Lattice steel frame with arched brackets over a terrace.
Load-bearing frame along the full facade, before the roofing goes on.
Box-section beams span the passage between two buildings.
A frame of galvanised sections during installation.
Every canopy is made for its place, so we price each one individually. Five things matter most.
Profiled metal sheet or sandwich panels. Sandwich panels are quieter in rain and do not condense; sheet costs less.
Yes. A small cantilevered canopy over a door is fixed into the wall, with a metal sheet roof and drainage.
Yes, if it is anchored properly. On the coast connections and anchors are designed for gusts and the sheet is fixed more densely.

By the sea it is the protection that decides, not the thickness of the steel. Before we quote, we ask where the structure will stand and how far it is from the water.
The strongest and cheapest option, but only with galvanising and powder coating. Left unprotected on the coast it rusts within a single season.
For handrails and railings by the sea. AISI 316 where there is salt and spray, 304 for interiors and the inland areas.
Light and rust-free — for lightweight structures and parts that are hard to reach for maintenance.
Immersion in molten zinc protects the inside of the profile as well. Powder coating in your RAL colour goes on top.
